🌟 The Best 8th Grade DC Historical Tour Yet! 🌟
Our annual 8th Grade Washington, D.C. Historical Tour was truly unforgettable! From stepping back in time at Colonial Williamsburg, Jamestown, and Yorktown to walking the historic streets of Philadelphia and Gettysburg, every moment was filled with adventure and learning. We even got a glimpse into the unique culture of the Amish community in Pennsylvania!

Honoring our nation’s heroes—we had the privilege of laying wreaths at the Korean Memorial and Arlington National Cemetery. And in true explorer fashion, we packed in visits to the Smithsonian museums, the National Archives, the Library of Congress, the Capitol, and even the White House! Ten days, countless memories, and history brought to life! 📜🏛️
This trip wouldn’t be possible without our incredible parent chaperones and students, whose energy and enthusiasm made every day special. A HUGE thank you to Mrs. Jacquet, our fearless leader, whose meticulous planning made everything run smoothly. A special shoutout to Mrs. Yager, our official headcount expert, for keeping us all together and bringing boundless energy! A special shout-out to Mrs. Peterson (Petey) for her tireless efforts guiding students through their “blue” workbooks, challenging them not only to absorb history but also to reflect on how God’s hand has shaped our nation. 🙌

The DC Trip is truly a cornerstone experience of our 8th-grade year—one that deepens our understanding of faith, history, and the incredible story of our nation. We can’t wait for next year! 💙✨
